Irish Freemasonry in South East Asia
Welcome to the official website of the Provincial Grand Lodge of South East Asia. This website provides an insight into Freemasonry as practised by Irish Lodges in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand. Lodges of the Irish Constitution are governed by the Grand Lodge of Ireland, which is based in Dublin, Ireland. In the words of our Most Worshipful Grand Master, MW Brother Douglas T Grey: “Freemasonry is kindness in the home, honesty in business, courtesy in society, earnest in work, pity and concern for the unfortunate, resistance toward evil, help for the weak, forgiveness for the penitent, love for one another and reverence and love for God.” In essence, Freemasonry’s objective is to make good men better men. The tenets of Freemasonry are Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth. Membership of our Order is open to all men of integrity and goodwill, irrespective of colour or creed, on condition that they profess a belief in a Supreme Being. How they choose to worship Him is not of interest to us. To prevent any discord amongst its members, no discussion upon religion or politics is permitted at our Lodge meetings. We hope that non-masonic visitors to this website will find it interesting and informative. If you require further information, please feel free to contact us.
Warm greetings and fraternal regards,
